2011: A Review
Things have been pretty quiet here recently, though by contrast 2011 was an eventful year…
This is my website. There are many like it but this one is mine.
I am a web designer from Dundee who is just making his way in the web design world. I took a roundabout way of becoming a web designer, after experimenting and playing with HTML and CSS whilst I was at school (Frontpage FTW!) I left school with no clear idea of what career path I wanted to take. After working in an office for 3 years I soon got bored of that and realised that as I enjoyed playing about on the pc after work, web design was something I really wanted to do and set off on the path to becoming a designer.
After some education, some work experience and general experimentation I landed a job with a local company here in Dundee and my journey from office junior to web designer is complete.
Except that it’s not. The web is constantly changing and in order to keep up it’s important to keep learning as the techniques and technologies change and right now I’m all about HTML5 and CSS 3, which is in heavy use throughout the site.
